Welcome, hero! This is more than just a server; it's a safe harbor, a command center, and a home for gamers who believe in the power of community. Our Prime Directive is simple: "Do for each other." To make sure this remains the best crew in the galaxy, we ask that all members follow these simple rules.
Section 1: Respect the Crew (The "Be Kind" Protocol)
Treat Everyone Like a Hero: We are all on our own difficult missions. Treat every member with the respect, kindness, and empathy you would want for yourself. No exceptions.
Zero-Tolerance for Toxicity: Harassment, hate speech (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.), personal attacks, and bullying are not welcome here. This is our safe harbor, and we will protect it fiercely.
Respect the Chain of Command: Listen to and respect our moderators and admins. They are here to keep the community safe and fun for everyone. If you have an issue with a member, please contact a moderator privately.
Section 2: Mission & Gameplay Conduct
Be a Good Teammate: Whether we're winning or losing, we do it with grace. Support your squad, communicate constructively, and always end a match with "Good Game!"
Spoiler-Free Zone: Everyone experiences stories at their own pace. Please be mindful of spoilers for new games, movies, or shows. Use the designated spoiler channels and ||spoiler tags|| to discuss them.
No Cheating: We're here to build our skills and have fun together. Any discussion or promotion of cheating, hacking, or exploiting games is strictly forbidden.
Section 3: Comms Channel Discipline (Server Etiquette)
Keep Channels Tidy: Please use the appropriate channels for your discussions (e.g., #lounge, #memes, #art). This keeps our command center organized.
No Spam: Please do not spam text channels with excessive messages, images, or mentions.
Self-Promotion: We want to support our crew's creative missions! Please ask a moderator for the "Content Creator" role and post your stream/video links only in the designated #self-promotion channel.
Our Promise: This is a community where we turn frowns upside down, one game at a time. Thank you for being a part of our crew. You are what makes this place special.
Launch the Flagship: Successfully launch the official Gaming2Gamers stream on both Twitch and YouTube, creating our first public-facing beacon.
Establish the Hub: Get the basic framework of Gaming2Gamers.com online, featuring our mission statement, rules, and a clear, unmissable link to join the Discord.
Recruit the First 1,000 Crewmates: Our first major community milestone. To find and welcome the first 1,000 members who believe in our mission of kindness and teamwork.
Establish a Consistent Schedule: Create a reliable and consistent streaming schedule that our community can count on, making our stream a regular, comforting part of their routine.
Host the First Community Game Night: Organize our first official, scheduled event where members can sign up to play with you and the core crew on stream.
Launch the YouTube Archive: Begin editing and uploading stream VODs and creating unique highlight reels for our YouTube channel, building our long-term content library.
Empower the Community: Identify and promote our first community moderators from within the crew, giving our most dedicated members a chance to lead.
Start "Operation: Cuddle Puddle": A fun name for our first charity stream, where we can rally the entire G2G community to "Do for each other" and support a good cause.
Achieve Twitch Affiliate/YouTube Partner Status: Reach the milestones necessary to start monetizing the stream, creating a sustainable income that can be poured back into the community.
Establish a Mentorship Program: Create a "Big Hero" system where experienced members can help newer, shyer players learn the ropes in a safe and supportive environment.
Launch G2G Teams: Form our first official competitive (but still friendly!) teams for games like CS2 or Overwatch 2, representing the Gaming2Gamers spirit in online tournaments.
Create Real-World Connections: The ultimate dream. To grow the community to a point where we can organize our first real-life G2G meet-up at a major gaming convention.
Stardate: Welcome, Hero.
Every gamer knows the feeling. The quiet lobby. The silent headset. The vast, empty void of a solo queue. For a long time, that was my story. My name is Shane, and after 18 years and more than 10,000 hours in the game, I realized the most important mission wasn't about the win; it was about the crew you win with.
That's why I created Gaming2Gamers.
This isn't just a Discord server or a stream. It's a safe harbor. It's a recruitment mission to find all the other lonely pilots, shy heroes, and brilliant weirdos out there who are looking for a real team. It's a community built on a single, powerful, non-negotiable Prime Directive:
"Do for each other."
What We Are:
A True Crew: We believe in being good teammates, both in the game and in life. We celebrate each other's victories, we lift each other up after a tough loss, and we always, always end with "Good Game!"
A Safe Harbor: This is a zero-toxicity command center. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech, or bullying of any kind. This is a place where you can be your true, authentic self.
A Multi-Platform Alliance: Whether you're a PC purist, a console commander, or a mobile maverick, you have a home here. We're united by our love for the game, not the hardware we play it on.
So, if you're tired of navigating the void alone, if you're looking for a crew that feels more like a family, then your mission is complete. You've found us.
Welcome home, hero. We're so glad you're here.
